DESCRIPTION:(FR)Après avoir été le leader des Sex Pistols\, John Lydon a fondé Public Image Ltd (PiL)\, groupe pionnier du post-punk. Ce dernier considéré comme l’un des plus innovants de tous les temps\, leur musique et leur vision leur ont valu cinq singles et cinq albums classés dans le Top 20 au Royaume-Uni. Avec une formation en constante évolution et un son unique – mêlant rock\, dance\, folk\, pop et dub – Lydon a dirigé le groupe depuis leur premier album ‘First Issue’ en 1978 jusqu’à ‘That What Is Not’ en 1992\, avant une pause de 17 ans. Lydon a réactivé PiL en 2009\, enchaînant les tournées et sortant deux albums salués par la critique : ‘This is PiL’ en 2012\, suivi de ‘What The World Needs Now…’ en 2015. John Lydon\, Lu Edmonds\, Scott Firth et Bruce Smith forment aujourd’hui PiL.
